World Aquatics today confirmed that the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) - Beijing 2026 will take place from 1-6 December 2026 in the Chinese capital. The World Aquatics Short Course Swimming Championships will welcome more than 1,000 world-class athletes from over 200 countries for six days of thrilling short-course racing. This will be the third time China has staged the event, following successful editions in Shanghai (2006) and Hangzhou (2018).
